Tuesday Tips - health

How to keep weight off, especially as you get older:
  • Tip 1:   Eat Breakfast and make it a smart one.
  • Tip 2:  Build up your strength by lifting weights and doing exercises that focus on large muscle groups.
  • Tip 3:  Be accountable:  Start a food journal, join a program like Weight Watchers, or start a weight loss blog and tell people about it.  
  • Tip 4:  Snack smartly.  Eat two or three healthy snacks a day because it can squelch cravings and make your metabolism work more efficient.  Keep your snack at 100 to 200 calories.
